Chapter 30: Joe

So tonight was the night of the party a couple football players invited me to go, as well as Demi's friends who really wanted me to go. I suppose I could sneak out and attend, see what parties are like on this side of the city. Yeah I think Ill go. I picked my books up transitioning between classes and made my way to my locker casually. The same blond was at her own locker with a reddish head girl next to her.
"Joseph" one of them called out. Why am I not surprised.
"Yeah?" I said casually turning towards my locker to open it.
"You coming to Tays party tonight"
I sighed, I figured I'd just surprise them with my appearance "I don't know yet, well see" I said closing my locker again then walking away.
"I'd really like it if you came" I heard Taylor yell.
I pretended like I didn't hear them and just walked to my next period, too bad I didn't have any classes with Demi. Shes the only one who didn't make me feel like a piece of meat. And yet I did it to her. I was such an idiot checking her out in her cheer outfit. I mean, its pretty obvious she doesn't like it when guys check her out and then I start drooling over her like an idiot. I need to work on my game. I sighed and walked into class and took my seat. The rest of class passed by in a haze, everyone could not stop talking about tonight's party, it was getting kinda ridiculous. I sat down at an empty lunch table and began to think
***Joes Flashback***
"Joe you coming tonight?" Zac yelled across the hallway
I turned around "For sure bro!" I yelled back
"JOE! Youd better be coming tonight!" AJ yelled
Suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrap around me "Come tonight, Ill make it worth your while" she had told me

I sighed thinking about my past, I guess everyone got really hyped up about parties.Everyone always wanted me to go to their parties I guess since I was the quarterback and a star football player everyone assumed if I showed up then everyone else would as well. I casually glanced around the cafeteria; I wondered who the Joe was at this school.
