The basic aim of consumer protection policy in the EU is to inform and empower consumers, ensuring they are equally well-protected across the 27 EU Member States with the European Commission working in synergy with the National Authorities. EU rules curb abusive practices, harmonize legislation in the financial services and monitor product safety (via the RAPEX alert system). In addition the European Consumer Centres (ECCs) provide information and support in case of redress to EU citizens.

  • This is great! I just installed my "Euro-Door-to-Door-Salesman-Foot-in-the-Door-Eliminator today!

  • This is a WARNING to the EU lordblazer is right all US media is a propaganda engine for one power or the other, (Banks, corporations, political parties, etc.) The US has became corrupt it is beyond sad. If the EU wants to survive as a union you must look at America over the past 40 years. Greed, power, money, lies and cover-ups, America is a corrupt Nation. You can make the same mistakes watch your leaders'. Never allow Bank of America in Europe they believe in one bank one world,so did Hitler.

  • You think ASEAN fear population drop?

  • Maybe u can be both, English and European.

Don't want to force u of course. Every person has his/her own self-identity.

  • The European banking is just as corrupt. The Chinese government is worse. America is not what you should be worried about, but I agree that our moneytary system is corrupted and the dollar is basically worthless. It is sad.

  • If the EU banned imports from China, we would have barely anything.

  • ASEAN becoming like EU? I don't think so... first we need to kick burma out, then we need to stop singapore hoarding all the riches.

  • yeah, but the stores in romania are mostly filled with stupid products imported from china... They should ban imports from china in all the EU

  • Sure it will, you'll get the same politically correct bullshit we never wanted in the first place. Plus all the power-squabbling, the same way it was before the EU, only with a PC label on it, and a currency going down the drain rapidly, when one of the new member states decides to kick back and let theirs rise (like Poland, where I'm from, we should never adopt the Euro). And so-on. So don't get your hopes up. Oh, and you'll get a population drop pretty quick, as people become degenerates.

  • Agree with that :)

I was born in my village, I live in my village and I will die in my village.

    Citizen? Never!
