I was attempting to compare coil types to show that they all have the same strength and that the giant 'Doug' coil is not necessary. The last channel of the amplifier dried it even blinked the lights when it went. That is why they recommend the QSC amplifiers for coil drivers.

  • I am buying a QSC amplifier that can drive a 2 ohm load for my next video....

  • did your jack short the output of the amp when you pulled it out?

  • @gushhnet - That must be what happened, but the volume was all the way down to zero? It took out the channel of the amp, its fuse, and the power supply and its fuse!
