They are not that bad. Have you ever tried going on a patrol in Afghanistan wearing U.S. Army ACUs? They stick out like a sore thumb and the only time they blend in in is when they are very dirty! But you rea those on base and the non combat troops that never see any action and drink coffe all day complain for you to change your uniform. . That is why we have changed to multi-cam -cam since it blends in better.
