Fed up with cars passing so close that you can identify which brand of wax they use? Then fit something to your bike that'll really make a mess of the paintwork! Guaranteed to scare drivers away . . . and probably get you arrested.
Nice Mr Heath and Mr Robinson contraption here. Probably will end up in the viz along side the "clag gone" advert and the "Goose step Meister". However I do like the thinking. It does need a more powerful machine on the end of it. Hows about a petrol stihl saw instead?
@Thumpe619: Well, lane splitting is illegal. Just wait your turn to pass safely and deal with it. That's traffic, mommy told you there'd be days like this, Driver.
@pdickey100 There are no laws in the UK specifically against riding two or more abrest. The Highway Code suggests that you should not ride more than two abrest unless it is safe to do so. However, the Highway Code is not in itself law. I understand that any vehicle can generally take up a whole lane if necessary.
@Thumpe619 I don't know what the laws are where you are, but here (Wisconsin, USA) cyclists are only allowed to ride side-by-side when it is safe to do so, and does not impede the normal flow of traffic. Look up your own local laws to find out what they are in your area. That said, even if a cyclist is doing something illegal, you still must overtake them safely.
tl;dr: you're (likely) right to be upset by this behavior, but drive safely even when you're upset.

@Thumpe619 Usually it's alot safer to ride 2 abreast as opposed to one.

What pisses me off as a driver is when bicyclists ride OUTSIDE of the bike lane so that they can ride side-by-side with their buddy
