One of the largest European organette manufacturers of the late 19th century was the Phoenix Musikwerke (Schmidt & Co of Leipzig, Germany), which built and sold a large number of organettes through the 1870s to the early 1900s, sold worldwide.
Arguably the best known brand name of this company was that of 'Ariosa' - used on its line of smaller, open centred (or doughnut) disc playing organettes.
The instrument featured here is an 18-note double reeded (so 36 total reeds) model, with celeste tuning on the second row of 18 reeds - which gives a particularly nice French accordion sort of sound.
The tune here is the well-known number, 'After the Ball'.
