  • Rugby League Films has it in colour

  • @ThisIsRugbyLeague thanks I have purchased it yesterday

  • Yes,Steve Rogers, was one of the best centres of all time. Would love to see the rest of this game's highlights,in colour. Lurch trying to rip Cliff Watson's head off...Gold!

  • @Darrinmanly yes I would like to know if the whole game exists in colour. I would love to get it. I watched the whole of b&w version recently and the quality is poor. Almost looks like it was filmed off the TV screen! It is hard to make out what happened in some of the incidents like when Reilly was taken out. Also noticed what little ball security was back then and the scrums were a lottery. Still it was during watching this game on b&w I decided to support Manly so has a special place for me.

  • Great ball from Greg Pierce to Rick Bourke. Pierce was so much more than a tacking machine. Wonderful player who doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

  • I remember the 78 final much better. It was heartbreaking to lose that game!!

  • Referee was Keith Page ? It was Keith page in 1972. But I thought it was Keith Holman by 1973. So much for my friggin' memory.

  • peter peters was demoted recently

  • Fulton the greatest of them all won the game.

  • RIP Steve Rogers
