"bend ur feet"... ? If you're going to be racist, at least make sure your comment actually makes sense.

Pretty cool, but I've got him beat. I'm 73. Checkout my superpipe youtube video under "Tom Levak." I'm an advanced freerider who rides the whole mountain. I stay out of the park, except for walls and smaller half pipes, though.

I am 55 and a Floridian. Tremblant I give a big NAHHHH! Canadian Rockies (Lake Louise) and a big Thumbs up for Colorado and Utah. My sled is a Burton Canyon 169. Stay safe, Ride Safer and for a long time.
Would love to meet some of your 80+ riders on YouTube. Is that possible?
Incidentally, just did my last round of snowboarding at Tremblant 2 days ago (Wed, Apr 2) on ice with ice pebbles. Had lots of fun practicing fast turns but ended up hitting my head & shoulder on solid ice. My stupidity to ride on ice again in the first place. But my helmet saved my life! I'm fine now, but no more riding on ice again! So, young folks, keep your helmets on! YaH

inspiring. I'm just a beginner at 45. Have 2 seasons now and just learned to backside ollie 180 (frontside is scarier...means heelside/butt landing if you fall). Skateboard/surf background probably helps. Someone told me not to turn as much in powder - probably because it slows you down and you need speed to keep you on top (tried it a couple of days ago and it worked...either that or because my new board is a 164cm)

Do you need speed on powder! I learned it the hard way by coasting onto a gentle slope and got stuck. Almost had to yell for help to get myself out of knee-deep snow. It was exhausting and no fun!

Impressive. Not many of us old guys can ride a board. I have been working at it four 10 years, since I was 50. Check out the youtube site my kids did for me last winter: "59 year old snowboard king". You are the king of us old guys now.

You may not be the oldest snowboarder, but you are certainly still the king among us seniors in skill. You look great! I guess for now I can continue to claim to be the oldest rider (snowboard king) until someone older than 70 posts a video showing he/she can still ride a board. YaH

Hi! Fellow riders! I am the 70-yr-old in the video - my first, taken without trial runs. Otherwise I would have done much better. My excuse: still trying out powder (Solitude, Utah) for the first time. I paid my dues on the icy slopes of Mont-Tremblant and Mountain Creek. Although I'll be back to Tremblant Jan 20, 2008 for another round of ice, now I prefer the softer slopes of the West! Any tips on how best to switch from ice to powder? Happy riding and Happy New Year! Young-at-Heart
