Early Sunday morning Katie and I headed to the Rhode Island shore to check out the surf and being the geek that I am, of course I took the camera's. We went to East Beach first which was totally closed. So the next beach up the road Is Charlesto...wn town beach. They wanted $10.00 to park..I told the attendant girl "if there is no swimming it should be discounted"... she let us park for$5.00. I guess my logic seemed logical to her:) After a couple hours there we headed to Weekapaug (the "Rocks" as some might know it.)It was very busy there so we circled around a few times and headed over to Misquamicut, parked at Atlantic Beach Resort, where the ocean had come over into the road. We took some more pictures and headed home and went swimming in our pool. All in all nice little adventure! The music is all me sort of....
Search "Newport July 24" That beach in California collapses on the sand too but not on July 24th!!! That is why I thought it was small. It does not compare to California. Noteing average california waves are still only 3 feet. They can become 30 feet.
