@filoponce though if you have been playing football for so long you should know how little time u often have to react under those circumstances and being that witsel is a rather inexperienced player, because of his age, i honestly do not believe he got engaged into that challenge with the hope of hurting anyone

@filoponce whatever man, we clearly have a difference in opinions. though i still think nobody should wish for someone to get hurt that way, especially since witsel has been punished for it and he expressed his regret numerous times. im actually from belgium and i ve been following and playing football for whole my life too and knowing that witsel does not usually commit such fouls im led to believe that he did not do it on purpose, if u feel u can judge him from a 50 sec vid u r 3 to do so

@mightymikey1 you're gonna say i dont know the sport because i call it soccer? hahaha you must be pretty ignorant to say something like that. and yes, he did it on purpose, ive played "football" for almost my whole life and know there was no need to leave his leg there for that tackle (which as soon as the guy started sliding, anyone could see he wasnt going to get the ball) unless he wanted to hurt the guy. he probably didnt mean to hurt him that bad but the intention is there.
