Oh yes, I've never owned Echo brand, but I've seen many pictures on ebay. And a friend of mine used to have one. I own a lot of New Bright and Scientific Toys G scale engines. One of my Scientific engines is vastly kitbashed to look like the #1 Walter E. Disney engine of the Walt Disney World Railroad.

That engine is Echo brand. It needs a side rod, btw.

YOU NOTICED! well that was a cheap train but the best one I had! and has long since fallen apart... I still use the dead locomotives as decoys- I leave my trains on the track outside but take all working engines inside... the dead engines can always be used on the inactive track sections in a layout!
I now use Electrified brass track for better quality locos.
