CFHS Marching Band 2008 (Superior)

(New Note: We earned a Superior at State and I got to say this year all we've gotten is Superiors!!!!)

CFHS Marching Band 2008 at U of A. We got a superior and the Numek award (I guess that's how you spell it) it means it was the most outstanding performance.
The songs we play are Beatle Juice theme, Loompa land from Charlie and and the chocalate factory, Breakfeast Machine from Pee Wee's grand adventure and Ice Dance/Grand Finale from Edward siccors hand.

I saw you guys perform at the UofA and seeing you guys was worth being there for the 2nd half of the festival. We performed the 1st half and got an excellent. Congrats you guys were amazing!!

P.S. The guard flags for the beetlejuice theme were pretty cool and so was the ending of ice dance.

Rather than a "Numek" award, the band received a "Nunamaker" award, which was named after Milton B. Nunamaker (a legendary director from Arizona). On occasion, this award is given to the group(s) that the judging panel deems to be of outstanding merit, meaning that the Award is not necessarily given to a band each year....bands must earn this honor and if no performances merit the award, the award is not given.

that show was amazing... nice nice job.
