The Evening Express held its own study to see how one Aberdeen 73-year-old coped with the hi-tech equipment.
The University of Aberdeen and NHS Grampian today launched a study involving Nintendo Wii Fit consoles.
Over-70s who are prone to falling over will be guided through yoga, aerobics, muscle-strengthening and balance games to test if playing can help improve balance.
President of Grampian Senior Citizens Forum George Thomson gave the technology a go.
