CGI Explosion (3ds max) - matchmoved

Why is the scene that short?
It is ment to be a dream. The dream has an abrupt ending, where the actor wakes up.

Applications used in this workflow:
Illustrator CS4 (concept)
SynthEyes (MatchMove)
3ds Max (remodelling scene, explosion, debris, 3D light, AfterBurn PlugIn)
Photoshop CS4 (rotoscoping)
After Effects CS4 (compositing, color correction)
Premiere Pro CS4 (cutting, exporting in .f4v for HD web quality)

Rendering time: 30 minutes per frame
-- multipass rendering

Could you do a short lava effect? I've always wanted to see one.

But I didn't find use for it in any of my shots or films yet.

Not like I am an expert, but I think if you would have added more motion blur to the rock columns that break and fly at the camera, it would have really sold the effect.
