@floydian5 I was in a pub in Fulham once in 1989 watching a band of old-timers. Not many people there... but there he was! Dave Gilmour holding a pint watching the band. I asked him if he was, indeed, Dave Gilmour. He said yes. I asked him why he was there. He told me one of the guitarists in the old-timer band was a former member of Fleetwood Mac. I told him I thought he was better than Eric Clapton. He told me that I should remember that Clapton had been through a lot. At that point I shut up.
