I once played Half-Life 2: Lost Coast when I was a child. . .I saw a poison head-crab, I screamed and I shot them all with the SMG1.

how do i play lostcoast on garry's mod? the gamestart script that comes with the map wont let you play further than waking up in the sand

I have exactly the same problem! For this video I didn't use Gmod, just the original Lost Coast (with a few more Combine soldiers). I'm pleased with the part with Breen's voiceover and the close-ups of the murals (starting from 2.30) but my original plan was to have Striders marching in along the coastline - all sorts of stuff - so I was gutted when I discovered Gmod wouldn't work for this map. I might re-make this part some day, but this was the best I could come up with at the time.
