Hollywood star Johnny Depp has made an unannounced visit to a London primary school after receiving a letter from one of its pupils.
The actor turned up at the school in Greenwich, South London, dressed as his Pirates of the Caribbean alter-ego Captain Jack Sparrow.
He said nine-year-old Beatrice had written to Captain Jack, asking him to lead a mutiny against her teachers.

According to JD, the school was contacted before he showed up. It would only proper. So the school probably called the media or they themselves took the videos/photos. I doubt very much this was a media stunt. The film and JD don't need the extra publicity.

That is exactly what I looked like at 9 years old. And that's when I started crushing on Johnny because of the Pirate movies. Ahhh! Happy times for that girl!
