Its a GREAT PRODUCT, but no attachments makes it, unadaptable, flow cant be directed, in my opinion is a real break to consider before buying this product unless you can make your own parts for your own use. For water polishing and filtration with the quick filter is GREAT! The output strength is good, the adjustable flow doesnt actually adjust a whole lot, but the flow can also be reversed. I know the 20s 30s and 110s cant do that but they come (not sure about the 110) with diffusers for the output which is nice as well as smaller adapter piece which makes it easier to put on things.

If you were going to get this for circulation only (no quick filter) (and this goes for pretty much any power head) just go get a current maker/pump. Personal suggestion on those, I like the hydor koralia, tunze turbelle, ones work great, the maxi-jets are nice too because of their flexibility with the current modification.

If you want a FLEXIBLE/VARIABLE powerhead, the maxi-jets and Rios always seem to do the trick, and never have problems with them in marine aquariums either.

  • I have a 75 gallon tank with a moderate amount of plants and no fish. I have an established tank. I have some dead spots in the tank. I just want thereto be a little circulation in the water. I don't need a extremly powerful powerhead. I just need one to break the surface a tad bit. What do you think would help me the best ? I only want a small amount of filtration.

  • @XXGOLDENXXDRAGONXX Just get a smaller model.

  • hey man next time try not to wear a shirt with the same color as the equipment i cant see the powerhead half the time.

  • Again, for fitting tubes together that don't match in size, use a thin layer of aquarium silicone and put the two tubes together.

  • if you want the top part to stay on and not fall off, then apply a small amount of aquarium silicone, so that if in the future you want to readjust it, you will be able to, just a drop of aquarium silicone.

  • Hi, I just bought me a second fish tank, it's a 90g hexagon shape, which filter would u recommend d marine land 400 or d aqua clear 110? I'm putting d tank in my bedroom so I want d quietest 1, n any other quiet filters? thank u!! Please wb

  • Great review. I am thinking of getting a powerhead to aerate my aquarium. Thanks for taking the time to show it off in detail.
