Made using the Reelsmart motion blur plug-in in Adobe After Effects just before taking the taxi to the airport. There was supposed to be another advanced version with Twixtor in addition, but I had no time left to configure it and process to the render. =P

No more videos for one month, so stay tuned for my updates about how many weeks remaining.
Enjoy =)

  • this is the effects when making a video not the effects IN-GAME right?

  • Yes, these effects were added POST recording, using Adobe After Effects CS4.

  • SICK!!!!!!!!

  • The funniest thing is that the game already has motion blur, but REvision FX's Reelsmart Motion Blur plug-in for Adobe After Effects (available for Adobe Premiere, Shake and Final Cut Pro for Mac) really made it stand out and made this hyper sick.

  • Do you have twixtor? I have tried for days to get it for mac.

  • I just got my serial number for PC under After Effects. Too bad I don't have it on my shitty Vista PC, cuz it's WAAY too slow, I might ONLY use free software on my laptop, not high-end semi-pro software like Sony Vegas.

I can't even make uLead VideoStudio run properly without a crash every 2 minutes or when I import stuff. :(

  • @MrPotatoslayer Oh, don't bother recording games with Camtasia Studio.

It's a program meant for desktop recording (tutorials and all...).

  • @playman350 i heard of this thing called camtasia? any good? i kinda like it cos its like my last name-Fantasia

  • @MrPotatoslayer

Oh sorry, my mistake, I thought you said "Encoder" software, sorry...

So, you want a recording program that could allow you to record video from a game software source, right?

For PC, the reference is called FRAPS. It gives - by far - the best compatibility, quality, and overall feature set, along, however, with a 29.99 price tag.

Me myself, I didn't buy FRAPS, I just... "acquired" it, you know what I mean?

For consoles, I'd suggest one of 'em capture cards.

  • @playman350 is that for pc?

  • @MrPotatoslayer

    MeGUI.

  • can any1 suggest a free recorder software?

  • Yeah, the game's blur is only screen based, where Reelsmart adds blur to any movement.
