@myluvtru1980 jamaican black castor oil.... my sister also just started using another product and has seen drastic change i will get some info on it.. it supposedly works soo well that you have to wash ur hands after using it or you knuckles might grow hair... lol

@bossladychelsea dont give up! my sister (who has locs) told me not to give up until the 2 year mark. thats the biggest hurdle. i had my growth spurt around the 18 month mark but it would vary from person to person im now 4 year and 5 months into the game :) you can do it!!

Happy 4th loc anniversary!!! August of this year will be my 2yr loc anniversary. Also you were one of the people that helped me decide to get locs! So thanks b/c I wished I done it sooner. My 18 yr old son loc his hair about 4 months after I started mine! So we're in competition! LOL

Happy Anniversary! I have been subscribed to you for the last 3 yrs & am amazed at how much your locs have flourished. S/N: I think heat in any form is the devil, too! LOL I'm so glad to see in the comments that Grandpa is doing better. They don't make them tough like that anymore. ;-)

I started my locs 3 months ago after being natural for 2 years & I'm doing the 2 strand twist way, but I feel like I'm so impatient, I want them to look like yours :( I guess I'll have to wait for 4yrs lol x

I was 3 steps away from going into my bathroom and grabbing conditioner and a rat tail comb! you inspired me to keep going....ohh this journey is gona pay off...all the while i keep telln myself its just hair...idk i feel like with locs its just a tad bit deeper with me...its a lifestyle not a hairstyle...ur vids are awesome!! and thanks for the motivation!

wow congrats on your 4th year!! your loc are lovely! and yes i notice that happens to me to my hair still be wet for a while after i wash my hair it takes forever to dry lol
