Great. Used to listen to this stuff for hours in my childhood. :-)

I was so lucky during the early part of my childhood, because I lived in suburban areas with lots of undeveloped land nearby. The days when I'd go out exploring to see what sort of sights I might see remain fondly enshrined in my memory. I loved to take stock of all the various different kinds of insects, butterflies & birds. I believe that it's something I'll never grow out of, too. So, that's one of the reasons why I enjoyed this video so much, along with a great musical accompaniment. :-)

kids these days don't get to play on vacant waste land these days nearly enough. there's so many wierdos around you can barely let them out of your sight now. i used to spend hours catching stuff in brooks or sitting up trees. giles used to catch critters and bring them home to watch in aquariums for a few days.(much to his mother's disgust!) a habit he's grown out of now, i'm pleased to say! we prefer to see them in the wild. lol! glad you liked it. we love this time of year, so much out there!

the little moths looked like fairies without the sparkles when they flew. too fast to catch on camera though. we do love this field. we saw an adder there once but the dog usually scares them off before we get to their sandy bank. still hopng to see them again. this field is also where the hare live. it's just perfect for them. also skylarks and lapwings. so pretty. and lots of lovely berries to pick later for jellies and maybe some wine. yum yum! new camera is very good. thanks for dropping by
