TLI 12 - Khmer Rouge, Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville (Cambodia)

Travel Log Indochina, entry 12.

In This episode we visit the main sites related to the holocaust during the communist era under Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. Tuolsleng, known as S-21 and Choeung Ek, known as 'The Killing Fields'. A short documentary helps to understand the relevance of these places and the brutality of the regime.

We then move on to Sihanoukville in the south-coast, where we say goodbye to Cambodia.

Meu amigo... Eu tô vendo os seus vídeos na sequência e duas coisas me chamaram a atenção.

No vídeo passado vc disse que a especialidade do Camboja era o seu povo e nesse vc disse que não entendia como um povo que passou por tantos horrores pode ser tão amável! Eu concordo 100%, tive essa percepção em todos os dias que lá estive... Mesmo com todos os templos, o povo foi a parte que mais gostei! Parabéns pela viagem!
