Why does this particular straw man pop up so often? It's okay to not know the answer to a scientific question yet. There is only one side of this conversation that is pretending to have answers and it isn't atheists.

Wow, the entire 1 minute and 14 seconds of this video is just a gigantic strawman argument. You will not find one atheist that claims they have 100% knowldege of anything. As a matter of fact. Atheism is about NOT knowing, but searching for the answers anyway. Unlike religion, which egotistically claims that it has all of the answers.

@gerinja Please cite the historical evidence for Christ's resurrection. Name one academic historian who has demonstrated this empirically. Since supernatural events cannot be reconstructed using empirical methods, the resurrection of Jesus qualifies as a point of Christian dogma unamenable to the historical method. See John P. Meier, A Marginal Jew: Rethinking the Historical Jesus: The Roots of the Problem and the Person.

Big fail. Atheists do not claim to have all the answers without evidence - that's what theists do. I know it's difficult for you to live with uncertainties but making up fairy stories to settle them is not the answer!

@gerinja There is no historical evidence of Jesus being the son of God or of him being resurrected. It's a story, the same as the Muslim story of the Prophet Mohamed being by inspired by God. Not history, but mythology.
