Identical twin brothers and tennis teaching pros Angelo & Ettore Rossetti attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest contrived tennis rally ever recorded. The attempt began on Saturday, August 18 at 6:30 PM and concluded at 5:09 AM on Sunday, August 19, 2007 after 19,490 strokes. • why is it unofficial?

  • Hello Mastersquishy, its *unofficial* because it is pending approval by Guinness World Records. The record in strokes is 24,696 which took just over 7 hours but we believe we set a record in time since ours took 10 hrs, 38 mins. Our goal this year is to reach 27,000 strokes in 15 hrs on August 9!
