im starting to learn this piece and i cant seem to find the part in the instructions about loosening the valve caps...where do you see that? BRAVO, this piece is AWESOME and you killed it!

this is very very impressive (especially those random yelps in between those interval jumps). i have never heard of this piece before, but i think it sounds great and you did an amazing job.

Thank You for your kind words officersauce, they are very much appreciated. This piece was a bear to learn (especially the yelps, which weren't random at all) but the pay off makes it more than worth the effort. Thanks again.

Hello,
Kryl was written in 1977 for Edwin Harkins at the University of California at San Diego by Robert Erickson. It was premiered in 1980 and published in 1984. Perhaps Kryl is old fashioned, but it certainly still pushes the limits of trumpet technique, EVEN in 2009. Thanks for listening.
