Fall Update (part 3 of the series) talking about my Vizio 3D TV that uses passive 3D with Polarized 3D glasses. In the video I talk about my TV (Vizio Model # E3D420VX) my Panasonic Blu-ray 3D Surround Sound System (Panasonic Model # SC-BTT770) and I also discuss my Viewsonic Media Player (Viewsonic Model # VMP71). The tv stand is an IKEA "LACK Coffee table" (Article Number: 001.042.91). :)

FULL 3D means the picture source is 3840 x 1080P
HALF SBS 1080P 3D means the picture source is 1920 x 1080P

Overall I enjoy this TV for both 3D AND 2D content - throw in a surround sound system and you have a theater-like experience in your home.

  • hi there question again...are u having problem with the 2d-3d conversion using dvd and bluray disc? i already bought a high speed 3d hdmi and everytime i switch the player to 2d-3d my tv goes blank and no signal...do u think the vizio tv and n panasonic player is not compatible? help me please coz i dont know what to do...thanks

  • @ericksonpogi8 Hmmmmm. I'm not a big fan of the 2D-3D conversion this Bluray player offers. I tried it once and it looked like s*%t so I haven't gone back to it - it worked and all with some weird "blinking effect" which gave me a headache and had zero depth. Bluray 3D movies play awesome, tho. Sorry I can't help you. Maybe contact Panasonic or find an on-line blog about it... Good luck.

  • Is that Avatar 3D, and if it is where did you get it/ how much was it?

  • @apsithj Yes it's Avatar 3D - I got it free (as a send away in the mail with proof of purchase) from the Panasonic folks after I purchased my Panasonic Bluray-3D Surround Sound System.

  • haha that was freaky! I just turned on my blu-ray player then looked back to your video and it's the same player! Anyways I'm leaning towards getting this tv so thanks for the review!

  • @grapeape1969 Yeah it's a decent Bluray Player. I mostly got it for the surround sound and I am a little bummed that it doesn't play .mkv or divx files at this time (maybe with a future update it will). Also, according to the manual it should play AVCHD movies (via SD Card or DVD or Bluray Disks) but so far it hasn't worked for me.
