@ASIANBOYZPRODUCTIONGreat Danes aren't the healthiest breed but I'm buying one anyways. I think they are great dogs, but no matter how many BOB and BIS wins my boy has, he won't be bred unless he will HELP the breed with those problems. Just because they are titled doesn't mean they should be bred. Sure, it SHOULD be that way, but what in this world IS the way it should be? Not much. It's up to us as owners do determine whether our titled dogs are indeed good enough to be bred.

@ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION Eh, you've got to take the ethics with a grain of salt. I have only ever shown hardy breeds like coonhounds. My next boy is going to be a great dane once my bluetick pup is more seasoned so my husband can learn to handle him but honestly, it is also the owners' of these dogs who are to blame for the health issues.

Never like these dogs shows, especially the ethics put by the Kennel Club because they are making every dog breed prone to more and more sickness and illnesses from too much inbreeding to cope w/ their so called beauty and not the purpose. Shame on the Kennel Club!
