This is a 3 minute trailer of the children theatre performance I made in the Netherlands. Title translation: "Zante Kastano in the clouds" Story: Zante Kastano is a boy who lives in the clouds and does not know what 'sleep' is. He even doesn't know how to properly lie down (given that he is 'played' by a helium puppet this comes as no surprise). Zante gets nevertheless rather curious about what 'sleeping' means and together with his friend, the cloud pilot, he starts on a journey to discover dreams, stormclouds and gravity. There is a secret layer to the story, in the way that it might occur to some audience members during the show that what we are actually witnessing is the bed-time ritual of a father and his 4 year old son, the latter being rather reluctant about the idea of having to go to bed. The show is performed by three musicians, one actor (the father/cloud pilot) and a helium puppet (the boy/Zante). The children have the possibility to interact with the story by creating clouds with the big white parachute cloth that the show is performed on. The music in the trailer is from the actual show. Composer: Marc Spee, Musicians: Marc Spee, Maarten Vinkenoog, Nina Hitz / Florien Hamer, Performer: Paul Loomans Find more on http://www.zantekastano.nl
