buck buck a cornerstone game

this is my explanation:

alright,
they split the people into two equal teams. One team is at the bottom of the hill, the other is at the top of the hill.
The people at the bottom stand bent over with their arms around the person in front of them, they have to move really tight together so they stay sturdy. They alternate the side that they put their head on, so the person on the front has his head on the right side, the next person on the left side, and so on. They are known as the 'horse'.
The people at the top of the hill go one at a time yelling 'BUCK BUCK NUMBER ONE!' or whatever number they are, and a lot of times if they lose track of the number they just say 'BUCK BUCK NUMBER SOMETHIN ER OTHER' ahah anyways, they yell 'BUCK BUCK NUMBER ___', run down the hill, jump, push off on the person at the butt of the horse, land on the horse and lay down so the next person can go.
Its kind of like in the old cowboy movies when the cowboys were like running from something and they jump on the horse from behind, you know?
but yeah,
this game looks really awkward if you know what i mean, but its a blast to watch!!!

hmmm.... i dont know...

i think they just keep playing rounds and getting points based on who breaks the horse (if the horse is what gives, that team loses. if the people on top fall off, that team loses.) until they're just done playing haha, then whichever team with the most points wins i guess? hahah

11 months late, but the object of buck buck for the "buckers" or "jumpers" is to break the "horse". This means making the row of people initially lined up to lose structural integrity and fall over. The strategy is that the farther forward you go on the "horse", the less support there is, and the greater chance of causing the horse to collapse. The horse wins if one of the buck buckers touches the ground, OR the horse holds all buck buckers with none left to jump.

I played this game yesterday for the first time, it was a bit different though. Person in the front of the line w/the people bending over is against a wall facing everyone else. the other people have to put their head between the legs of the person in front of them. Really ackward, but very fun.
