Thanks for the video and quick flight onboard "FIFI", she really is a beauty. My dream will come true if i ever get a flight onboard one of these old WWII Bombers.
Is the bomb-sight that shows in the vid still working and all the electrical wiring for the bombardier to open and close bomb-bay doors etc?

@Emotator The bay doors do function, but quite honestly I followed the old aviation mantra of "If it's dusty or painted red don't touch it" so I'm not the one to tell you if it really works. I'd have to refer this question to Dave the Flight Engineer who is the real expert on this plane. But as for restoration, they did an amazing job of making her look correct.

@jasonacsalesltd Does she still have her original engines?
MrJp990 9 months ago
@MrJp990 They just finished a re-engine project in 2010 which added some power and increased reliability I believe the cost ran upwards of $1 million dollars for engines and parts, and most labor was volunteer. The CAF has several good short videos about the process. If you happen to see Fifi and can't afford to fly her, if you enjoy these old bombers drop a couple bucks off with the volunteers
