There are many high end boutique pedal makers out there who charge more.
You have to PAY for quality. These pedals are definitely worth it.

i would purchase most of tortuga's pedals i love most of them except they're way to expensive. $300 bucks per pedal?! seriously! i can get like 4 good other pedals for the same price as one of tortuga's pedals. ridiculous

I've had mine for about 2 years and it has never left my pedal board. I got number 6 from Tortuga. It pairs really well with Sasquatch

I've been looking for a good sounding phaser for several months now and keep coming back to this. It's a little pricey but it sounds too damn good. I'm getting it.

why not make it possibe to switch them in series ?

The Standard Issue Phaser has only one Phaser "engine" with two identical sets of potentiometers that you switch between. To make two channels that switched in series, you would need to have two phaser "engines". This is not possible with my current design. Possibly in the future though...
