  • cant believe it! proof at last. in late '50's used to go on hols to Applecross from Lewis. 4am climbing out thru livestock hatch in hull, down rope ladder to wee ferry below, thence to shore. Tardy admiration for Mum who organised it all.

    Calmac would do well to reflect on their fine public relations in those days.
