Catch It_left

The title of this film is "Catch it". It is a journey from morning to midnight, from countrysides to cities, there are four main points I want to express below:

1. Experience life: A journey is a way to experience life, by traveling, people try
to find out something and grow up. By traveling, people find their inner
emotions. I want to let people experience more details in lives and take care of the environment after this journey.

2. Imagination: I place imaginations in this short film, sometimes I use my regular viewpoint, sometimes I also imagine that I can change my shape at will, traveling in the jungle, on a lake...etc. Sometimes I also imagine that I am a object from which I use the third person point of view to see myself.

3. Pay attention to the beauty that we never noticed clearly before: Sometimes when we observe whether they are people or things, we usually make an outline by seeing things as a whole. What kind of person he is, what the place it is, how this thing works, we also draw a conclusion based on the general appearance of the whole. But sometimes, we lose the details around us and let some beauties pass by. By making this short film, I put the element of "Pay attention to the beauty that we never noticed clearly before"

4. Slow down the pace: Sometimes our paces is too fast, many things
elapse very fast and we miss them. By slowing down, extending the time maybe just one second, lets people understand that time passes by too fast and we should slow down and seize something.


3D statement:

Because I want to let people experience the feeling of "Using different, unique viewpoint to observe the world", there are ways I want to present below:

1.There are two projectors that play movies
2.Two projectors are placed on the ground
3.The contents of two projectors sometimes play the same things, but sometimes play differently.(Although still interacting with each other)

I want people to get the idea "Catch It", not only from the inside (movie) but also from the outside (installation).
