Haha. I know that not many believe it but it's true. My tuners dyno gets re- calibrated every 12 months so the reading is spot on. My 281rwkw with just tune and exhaust is 100% accurate. When I first had it tuned from Gd performance I pulled 283rwkw and mine is automatic too. Since then it has been cammed only, no head work and I managed 305rwkw which is still very high. Don't believe me? Call up gd performance in dandenong and find out. They are the best tuners on the country!
My dyno figure is accurate. I double checked it on another dyno. First on a dyno dynamics and then on a mainline. Pulled the same figure with .3 of a difference. Mine is quite possibly one of the most powerful unopened engines in the country as I do not know myself of any other ls2's or L98's for that matter that make that much power with same mods. The highest I have seen is 272rwkw but it may not be accurate. I guarantee mine is!!
the walkinshaw suspension package is way overpriced. You can use better quality components from a good tuner for cheaper. The GTS suspension bushes can be purchased through my tuner and he has a custom bilstein suspension package that would beat anything out there for ride, handling and comfort. Dont mean to sound so, righteous, but I know i am and if you purchase these products, you will be real happy.
to those that cant decide about the GTS or the R8 VE's. If your getting the E2, go the GTS all the way. It has sharper steering with wider tyres front and rear, and is a much more enjoyable drive with the revised MRC. The car is more refined, is 25% stiffer and has all new suspension design to incorporate the wider offset including different spring postion too. The car rides so well it would have to be one of the best rides on 20's in the world.
my tuner has the exact same mods on his l76 motor and he is pulling 320rwkw and 780nm torque which will blow a supercharged version away with same power. and its automatic. always do research to find the best solution. cam job about 4600 with roller rockers. mine ran a 12.6 down the quarter mile in tuned form and now i should expect to run a mid-high 11 sec. i got the stock 3:46 ratio and the eaton tru-track lsd too. go vz r8!! and yes, all figures are spot on and have confirmed it!!
walkinshaw are nothing special. They are overpriced. The tuners do a much better job. Eg. Im getting a cam installed right now as we speak without ported heads on my LS2 engine. because I have used the right gear and my tuner knows what he is doing, mine had 281rwkw with an exhaust and tune and mine is auto. that equates to 365kw 620nm torque at the engine. with the cam upgrade I will be expecting about 320rwkw and 750nm torque which will be about 430kw at the engine.

You expect 280rwkw out of a cammed one, not an unopened.

bortous with a tune and an exhaust you are getting 281 rwk your tuner has a very happy dyno.would be no more than 240-250rwkw.
