@Winterwolf00 My son in law (love him) is from Morgan Texas, but they now live in Massachusetts. I'm gradually wearing him down to think unions aren't so bad. I keep asking "Just what is it about higher wages, more benefits and better working conditions that you don't like?" Lots of not so subtle brain washing to overcome. Its not hopeless but things are not looking very positive for millions. My heart goes out to the working-unemployed-handicapped poor. You all deserve better.

@Winterwolf00 be careful, Texas- there are a lot of crazies out there, with guns. I wish you well (being a member of the American Socialist Party myself) but you won't have a lot of sympathy there.

Here, in Canada, a social democratic party is our official opposition in Federal government, and we regularly have avowed socialists and Marxists running for public office. And we believe in taxes for the common good. And have free universal health care
