Wizardry 8 (PC) playthrough part 1-1

With the Blood expansions footage in processing limbo, I thought I'd start another LP for real in the meantime. I chose one of my favorite RPGs, Wizardry 8.

This is an Expert Mode playthrough, with Iron Man turned off and Simplified NPC Interaction turned off as well.

I'm well aware of another playthrough by NesralZ. His is on Normal mode, but it lacks commentary and has switched-in music, plus I think it uses an updated graphics pack. I chose to do with the music and graphics native to the game.

Part 1-1 is just character creation. My party is as follows: Dracon Samurai, Dwarf Monk, Felpurr Bard, Lizardman Gadgeteer, Rawulf Mage, Faerie Bishop. A difficult party for sure, and a worthy one for my final effort with this game.

ooh...I'm surely keen for every bit of this. Are you tearing apart the Vanilla version or are your primed with the latest/greatest of the fan patches/mod additions/etc?

@getter7seven Sticking entirely with Vanilla. The only patch I will be using will fix the dreaded Ascension Peak bug, and I'm only whipping that out right at the end (as I generally don't visit Ascension Peak until then).
