In 1972, Ford rally ace Roger Clark recorded a famous victory in Britain's RAC Rally to end 12 years of Scandinavian dominance of the event. Driving by day and by night, in dire conditions, Clark fought off the challenges of stars like Stig Blomqvist, Simo Lampinen, Shekhar Mehta, Ove Andersson and the rest to bring his Mk 1 Ford Escort home to win.   • such legends,both roger and the car,never again will someone drive a mk1 escort the way roger did,the sound of that BDA on full chat through the forest its pure music to my ears!!!!!
