Much more to it but surfice to say at 17 and never being out of the states before i was fn stoked.Oh there was a 2 dollar body tax to get on the plane home thank god I had some good skillzzzz at bumming a couple a bucks from some NYC bound grandma and grandpa.I had a 9' 10" Buddy Gardner at the time I thought I was on top of the fn world.

Update I surfed this place back in 68 whent with three others no plan no I dea what was up.Just was talked into it by someone I met at 163rd st pier in miami.Plane ticket was insanely cheap we took a local who had a VW van called it a cab and he droped us off in the middle of nowhere.Three great days of surf but way to many no see ums and all kinds of problems.We were saved from staving from locals in a small town taking us in feeding us some chiken and pineapple wine.
