I love the way these holiday with family movies are so exagerated so that when you do have have to go to yours you can at least step back put on a movie like this and remember that as crazy as you family is.... It could be worse! When my family get togethers have erupted into big blow ups these movies help me coast through the months of 'nobody's talking to anybody but me, so everyone wants to tell me their side'

OMG I swear this is totally like my family!!

My brother and sister would be screaming at each other for no reason at all.

My aunt would be drinking at randomly start singing for no reason.

My nephew would start complaining that he was bored.

My dad will start getting angry at everyone to shut up.

My other brother would be laughing at us all.

Then we would sit in front of the TV and just laugh at each other. Yes I know my family is bloody crazy! But its so much funner that way :)

I LOVE this movie. It's absolutely brilliant. I bought the VHS yrs ago and now have DVD and watch it at least a few times around the holidays. The acting is amazing. I'll admit that I've used this film as a relationship litmus test. If a guy doesn't get this movie, he won't get me or my family and he's got to go.
