  • As a psych major speaking here, she should just let Stephen talk. Guide the conversation rather than be in it. It's the best way to be able to elucidate what's going on in a participant's head.

  • Its EDITED! He probably rambled on for 20 minutes inbetween each of her interjections. Clearly these 'Psychie' people didn't pick up 'Media studies' as a minor

  • i'd rather listen to stephen fry talk for an hour about his knees than hear a word of what she thinks about him.

  • stephen fry helped me accept my gayness

  • Quoting Stephen Fry about this interview: " ...I dissagreed with so much of what she said. She did what was, to me, cardinal sin for a therapist, which was telling me what I ought to feel."

  • @themoonandsky I'm sure the host and the shows producers are watching youtube comments, holding their breath for that fleeting bit of advice that can only be provided by helpful youtube viewers.

  • @dutchgoing

    Continuation....

"before I died of having my intelligence insulted repeatedly" so do you mean to say you never get fooled by the show's traps? if so PULL THE FUCKING OTHER ONE, whether you like the show or not, there is no one alive that knows all the misconceptions, I refuse to believe that any one could watch that show for more then a few episodes without finding out they where wrong about something they use to think

  • @dutchgoing

    Continuation....

I do understand that “on radio thing”..... a lot better then you in fact, it means a program that would work on the radio doesn’t need to be ON TV, not that programs that would work well on the radio are necessarily unfunny or unentertaining ON TV

“didactic format” what’s wrong with you that it bores you just be told interesting information

actually John Lloyd gave him the job because of his perceived gravitas, that’s why he offered it to Michael Palin first

  • @dutchgoing

"Frankie Boyle is articulate, sharp & has a tremendoulsy dark sense" every joke he tells is just saying something outrageous for its own sake

Stop just stating it and tell me why Davies is bad (con’t)

  • @trollsSuck4ever as a shrink, who does it for a living and is successful enough to have her own series... i think she would know more about it than you. just an opinion ;)

  • @255ad If you don't understand the simple idea of a format for a TV show being so unsuited to the medium of televsion that you could still follow it with your eyes closed, then you need to really get a basic education before dismissing the idea as 'arbitary crap'. You sound like a Daily Mail reader, completely unable to take on new ideas, even simple ones without instantly offering an aggressive response because you don't understand something. Better stick to pretentious QI.
