@KimeraStorm I know it's two years old, but... The silver crystal brought the girls back, because Princess Serenity wanted them all to live on, including herself. Queen Serenity on the other hand wanted everything renewed without the evil of Metallia, and was willing to sacrifice herself to see everyone else get another chance at being who they are meant to be without the threat of a great evil. Both received their wishes.

LOL- nah idts have you noticed how each generation are stronger. think about it serna lasted more times with the crystal, Reni doesn't cry anywhere neer as much as Serena. And i think it'd get confusing for Darien, It is possible =) ya never know

I know - next time i watch sailor moon from the start I'm so gonna watch the jap version with subs. I've always wanted to see how queens serenity saved them. The American version shows a mini clip. I only herd if this ep from a link of the 'I lve sailor moon' group from facebook.

There is Princess Serenity, Queen Serenity, and Neo-Queen Serenity.
Usagi is Princess (past incarnation) and Neo-Queen Serenity (future incarnation).
Also Queen Serenity is not as powerful as her daughter becomes. Her lifeforce is drained by using only the first level of the Silver Crystal... without her own 'court' of sailor scouts to revive her, she dies.
Usagi manages to survive using five levels of the crystal and the Holy Grail because her court helps her adjust to them.
