The first time i heard this album was on a old 8 track my mom had bought on markdown at a five and dime store that used to be here years ago, This song hit me like a ton of bricks for some reason or the other. Than i ran across the cassette and must have replayed this damn song over a hundred times afterward! Then came the C.D which i bought. My absolute favorite Cars album and song.

@MrSilkySweat I respectfully disagree. It was harder to like, but once you really gave it a listen, you realize that it has a ton of gems. To make a reference to another group, Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk' album was harder to like, but once you really opened up to it, it was awesome. Rumours and the white FM album hooked you right away, but Tusk hooked you deeper. I feel the same way about this album and The Cars. Really, it's one of my favorites even though it has fewer hits.

Thanks Jack. This album brings back so many great memories for me. I was 18 then and had just moved into my first apartment with my best friend. All we did was party and listen to this and Candy O!
