92 1st gen Dodge Turbo Cummins Diesel vs 2001 Corvette @ Bandimere

92 Dodge diesel does 13.83 @ 101.97; Vette does 14.76 @ 99.34
Dodge has 5 spd Getrag and 12 mm ve pump; Corvette 6 spd and bone stock. Corvette has the 350 hp 5.7 liter LS1. By the end of the night the vette got down to 14.00 @ 100 and I got down to a 13.55 @ 103.3 mph. Quickest truck has gone is 13.34.
For those that are wondering; the truck has dynoed 472 hp at 2600' elevation, 452 at 4600' and about 445 here in Denver (5300') on Diesel only. When I turn on the water/meth injection it adds about 40-50 hp to each of these numbers.
Bandimere is 5800' elevation.

and add in that the guy in the vett bogged really bad lol one remark to absentheartandmind altitude doesent matter in a forced induction system at all does it i mean its always gonna be positive preassure no matter how high above sea level isant it unless the odvious so high cant breath anyway right

The below statement is for all who comment and still don't understand how the timing system works.

It does not matter when the Vette or I left the line. In this instance, what matters is the ET. If I had left 2 seconds after the Vette my ET still would have been 13.83 and his still would had been 14.76.........The reaction time would be terrible but, the time does not start until the vehicle trips the lights.

Awesome truck and I am amazed at what these diesels can do. Just watched one run 9's!!!! Still, the 'Vette driver in this video was TERRIBLE! (Leggio is right about ET's. Does not matter when they left the line,,,,the ET is the ET. Still, the 'Vette should have run much faster.)
