@KaitoHitsugaya People hate it because it's riding on the coattails of another series's name. People buy these stupid spinoffs expecting an actual main series game and are ripped off. If Konami wanted to make a new RPG series, they should have named it something else instead of pissing off all the fans who have very patiently waited for Suikoden 6. Imagine how pissed off the Final Fantasy fanboys would be if they made a pony breeding simulator and called it Final Fantasy 15.

The politic seems weaker than the main series, too bad. All I see in the trailer are monsters and dramatic scenes. Where is the civil war? Where is the game between hatred, logic and love? Come on.... This one is simply not special to me.

The game has received many positive reviews and this as well as Tierkies are actually very enjoyable. What's wrong with you old fools who can't grown up and see that you can't expect THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER THROUGHOUT THE CENTURY?

Time to grow up, really.

When did the Suikoden series become some Anime derivative? Konami, this does not appeal to a general audience, to an American audience and from the sales in Japan, it doesn't even have appeal in Japan. Hire someone to write decent storylines, revamp the battle system, and stray from this hack anime art style. Don't make the games for 12 year olds make it serious and mature. Rekindle JRPG's, Final Fantasy is dead Suikoden can take over. We are all waiting for an RPG worth playing
