Background and philosophy of Magdalena's: Her elegant flower design specializes in simple beauty and pure impression for homes, parties and weddings. Her emphasis on style, the colors pink and purple, the look back to the glamour flower arrangements of the past meet her eagerness to search for the longest lasting flowers and her quest for best quality. She also finds inspiration in the work of impressionist painters, in the style of the 40ies, in German floristic art. She loves to work with so called cheap flowers - also called filler flowers - and likes to offer seasonal flowers. In springtime she uses a lot of lilac, blooming branches, local and French tulips. In summer she buys white Chrysanthemums and blue Hydrangeas. For Thanksgiving she prefers colorful leaves and the gorgeous Peonies from New Zealand.
