Nimblewill Nomad - Odyssey 2010 - PNT - Part 1

July 19, Glacier National Park, Montana

The Nimblewill Nomad has shouldered his pack for the second trail of Odyssey 2010, a thru-hike of the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail. For the Nomad, this will be trail number 9 of the 11 National Scenic Trails. This segment begins at the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, on the U.S./Canada border, as the Nomad begins his journey through Glacier National Park, in Montana, which encompasses over 1,000,000 acres, including parts of two mountain ranges, sub-ranges of the Rocky Mountains. He pauses often, along his climb up to Stoney Indian Pass, to share the incredible magnificence of the waterfalls, lakes, and mountain scenery, as he heads on to Waterton Lakes.
