I feel everyones pain. I used to work for a regional council for almost 7 years. What they want is someone to say yes and only do what they say. Its a shame that union carpenters have lost their voice. For over 100 years, we had our right to vote and then in 1996, we lost it. Its crazy. I dont understand how its legal, and how Cash MCCarran was able to finagle this scheme. I honestly would love to hear how the federal DOL says this is legal by law.

I am in the Carpenters Union Council of a particular State, and Unionism is the down fall of our economy... Just a breeding ground for corruption... We are gong to bring down the Union from with in, just wait.. You Start showing people in the union to use the computer, all the union bosses (corrupt) will just have another way to lie, cheat, steal money from their own members.. I am in the union just to bring it down. Right to Work is the way to Be.

Where I work, all the concrete workers are immigrants, they work twice as hard as AMericans and are revered by management. Yes they are card carrying union guys. And.........don't get in their way... management will come down on you.

chicago union officals are useless Pres, Vise Pres, BAs ect. they REFUSE to acknowlege the illegal immigrants in our trade that are using fake & borrowed documents. its outrageous that the union man has to compete with illegals for jobs. McCarron has been informed but yet he does nothing to stop it. these socalled brothers should be removed. what a joke of a brotherhood we have in chicago. those in office are NOT brothers. we need PICTURES on our union cards in order to help prevent fraud.

Representative Democracy is Semantics for the fact that we do not have the right ot Vote. This includes BA's who are now all "Appointed" as opposed to having to 'Stand-Up for an Election" .

The policies of this administration will ultimately result in the demise of the Carpenters Union as an Organization. You can't even get water or a clean toilet on most Union Jobs anymore, as these schmucks have lost their way.
