@LetsGetItStartedNow - Zardana won that one with the highest speed figure of her career, and she beat a 80% Rachel. But don't forget, Rachel has the HIGHEST speed figure of any female horse this year. In fact, Rachel made the top 10 list TWICE. Zenyatta is nowhere on the list.

Rachel has the #1 Spot in the ThoroughbredTimes(dot)com "Performance Rating" because of this. Don't let her loss earlier this year fool you. This filly has not lost her touch at all!

@ThePixiePoet - Well if you know anything about handicapping horses, class ALWAYS prevails over speed. A horse will just do enough to win.  You surely can't believe that Rachel can beat Zenyatta. Zerdana is a junk horse. A horse with real class will not lose to a junk horse.

Your comment doesn't make much sense: all the great ones had speed. Secretariat is great. I like Zenyatta so don't make me out to be someone who doesn't like her, but I think Rachel has had more challenging and more exciting races in her career. To downplay Rachel is to not understand handicapping.

WOW!!! Gabby's Rachel Half-Sister???? I get a kick out of her trainer on her last workout before this race. He wasn't working her out, she was working HIM out!!! LOLOLOL!! Poor Gaby he's right. She ran her ass off!!!
