Testing the Type-Zero from ebay. Works great!

Battle Gear 2. A very underrated game, at least here in Sweden. Game was released the year 2000 but no arcade around Sweden ever got it. A shame, I am happy to say, I don't have to live with anymore.

Battle Gear 2 utilizes a real 12V lamp as over rev indicator, and poses the most detailed ever engine sounds I have ever experienced in a video game.

Game runs at 60 frames per second smooth polygon update on a 24kHz display, and very rarely has any slowdowns. Controls are all analog, steering wheel, gas and brake, and can be calibrated from the game's service-menu.

Audio seems to be two channels stereo with at least one channel for bass woofer, each as a line-out to an external amplifier.

The system needs a 120x120(mm) fan at the rear cooling it. Mind that used systems can have a very cloggy fan that needs replacing.

Thank you 1Live.. Well, I am planning on building some game rig to play all my racing games in it. So I will be making more videos of me driving. I am also very curious about this game. I got the board of ebay and it should be quite easy to adapt it to play in the same setup as other analog controled car games. I just need some time, inspiration and energy to get my thumb out and actually start to do something. I've been drawing for too long now.

Wow man, I am a really big BG fan. I have bg2 and bg3 on ps2 (I play them on ps3)

I would love to see more vids. I am jealous!
