  • @rareguy3 Oh and by the way, if you would look at K-1, then boxing would be a completely useless sport. No boxing champion in 1... and I don't think anyone would claim boxing is useless.

  • @rareguy3 Let's consider K-1. A much better competition to see how well a striking art does. Andy Hug, Semmy Schilt (both champions), Glaube Feitosa, Francisco Filho, Musashi... all big (or huge) names in K-1 and all from full contact karate. The truth is that the large majority of techniques are the same whether you're in savate, muay thai, kickboxing or karate. Whether I'm sparring in savate or karate, the difference lies in whether I'm wearing a gi or not and in which gloves.

  • @aiyer1989 i agree that karate has some good moves that works, but all of it simply just doesn't work... look at MMA, karate does not dominate the sport of mixed martial arts and i believe it is because ALL of it does not work and only a small precentage.

  • @rareguy3 people still fight exactly the same way, it's the karate that is taught in many clubs that has evolved away from a fighting art. Now, you can still find good karate but depending on the style it can be difficult or less difficult. If you go to a kyukushin club or an offshoot, you're in for a sure thing. Shotokan, well, there are a lot of bad clubs as well. And I would take someone from, say, seidokaikan over krav maga any day of the week.

  • @pyxo8888 you are right when saying that MMA is bad for aidsfighting and armed enemies but against aidsfighters i think it is a good idea to just run because aidspeople are usually sick and in bad health generally. and for fighting multiple opponents i would think krav maga any day of the week, karate is a cool martial art but it's old and the way people fight and move is different from the way they did in japan 300 yrs ago. maybe if you fought multiple aidsfighters in one big aidsfight...

  • try to use those against a bigger and stronger opponent * fail*

  • i like this thnkx

  • @rareguy3 it depends on the person, and how he or she was trained. if your fighting a person that might have aids or a weapon on them, or friends around, then alot of what you learn in karate will help you escape of subdue the person. if you use mma, all your gonna wanna do is punch and grapple. dont ever punch a person you dont know. if you catch there teeth your hand is done and you might be to with a hiv or hep c. grappling was made for war, not the street.

  • I thought the Symbols on their Clothing was a poke ball... B*tch pls!!! XD

  • @karatesoul ossu! good technique it's easy to understand.. thank you for uploading this video.
